OzStraps bands for the Google Fitbit Air are landing soon, with our first range arriving in the coming weeks. The Fitbit Air is Google's screenless fitness tracker, built around a tiny "pebble" sensor that pops out and snaps into interchangeable bands, and we're producing bands designed specifically for its unique fitting. About the Google Fitbit Air
Released in 2026, the Fitbit Air is a lightweight, screenless tracker weighing just 12 grams with its band, tracking heart rate, sleep and activity around the clock with up to 7 days of battery life. It's water resistant to 50 metres and reviewed through the Google Health app rather than a screen on your wrist. Because the sensor pops out of the band entirely, swapping bands takes seconds, and the band you choose defines the whole look of the tracker.
How Fitbit Air Bands Work
Unlike most Fitbit devices, the Air doesn't use clip-on or pin-based bands. The pebble-shaped sensor presses out of its current band and snaps into a new one, with alignment markings to confirm it's seated correctly. This means bands made for other Fitbit models, like the Inspire or Charge, are not compatible with the Fitbit Air, and Air bands won't fit other Fitbit devices. Our upcoming range is designed specifically for the Air's fitting, following Google's official accessory design specifications, including full skin contact for accurate heart rate and SpO2 tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will Fitbit Air bands be available at OzStraps?
Our first range is arriving in the coming weeks. Sign up to our email list for $10 off your order and to be notified the moment the range goes live.
Do other Fitbit bands fit the Fitbit Air?
No. The Fitbit Air uses a unique pop-out pebble design, so bands made for other Fitbit models like the Inspire, Charge or Luxe are not compatible. Only bands made specifically for the Fitbit Air will fit.
How do I change the band on a Fitbit Air?
Press firmly on top of the sensor to pop it out of its current band, then press it into the new band until it snaps into place, lining up the small alignment markings. Double tap the tracker to check the LED flashes, confirming it's seated correctly.
Can I wear the Fitbit Air swimming?
The tracker itself is water resistant to 50 metres. Band suitability depends on the material, with silicone-style bands handling water best. Whatever the band, dry it fully after water exposure before putting it back on.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
